The Voltron hype train is definately on a roll, as Sideshow Collectibles just announced a massive 27″ tall Voltron maquette, which is every inch as awesome as it is tall.
The release is right on the tail of the new animated series that’s due to come out on Netflix this week, Voltron: Legendary Defender. The new series is set to bring a fresh look to the original ’80s series and if you feel the need to have a gigantic robot lion on display, here’s your ticket.
It isn’t cheap though, as it has a monstrous pricetag of $1250 (about RM 5056) and that’s not even counting shipping.
The fun part? it comes in 11 pieces that you have to assemble yourself. No, you don’t get an awesome transformation sequence along with that.
