Then partnership, between the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia, will make Singapore home to a variety of entertainment activities themed around Disney‘s brands over the next three years. The first of which will be the Star Wars Day: May the 4th Be With You Festival which runs 4-6 May at Gardens by the Bay, in celebration of the franchise’s 40th anniversary.
There’s plans for a Marvel theme in 2018 followed by Disney Animation and Disney Pixar come 2019.
The partnership also offers local event organisers and firms to grow their businesses, given that the events will be encouraging more tourism from in and around the region.
Disney has six offices in the region, including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Maybe we can have something like this next?
