Now here’s some mad science that’s going on just over the Causeway and it involves electronics and a bunch of beetles.

What’s happening here is Dr. Hirotaka Sato from the NanJing Technical University, Singapore is developing electronics that can control beetles purely by way of electronic signals. Think of it as beetles with a remote control as you will.

The goal here isn’t about making cybered up racing beetles though, as the project’s ultimate goal is to be able to use said electronics to better control electronic prosthetics or to help humans regain control of their bodyparts.

Either way, you should check out the video to see the marvels of science for yourself!
