Studio Gonzo (Hellsing, Vandread) is confirmed to be producing the 4-koma (4 panel) doujinshi* manga adaptation of Sore ga Seiyuu!/ それが声優! for Summer 2015 release. Evil Line Records (Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon:Crystal) will be responsible for the music.

Casting confirmed so far is Marika Kuono (Rail Wars) as Rin Kohana, Rie Takahashi (Another) as Futaba Ichinose and Yuki Nagaku in her debut role as Ichigo Moesaki. Character design is by Masakatsu Sasaki (A-Channel, Saki) but no announcement on who will be the director yet. The original doujinshi* is written by Masumi Asano and if some of you are feeling deja vu looking at the visual key, you might be a big fan of Kenjiro Hata, creator of the famous Hayate the Combat Butler.

The doujinshi was first sold at Winter 2011 Comiket 81 and subsequently two compiled official tankubons were published so far. These followed by at least eight more sidestory compilations and special issues sold in successive Comiket conventions until Winter 2014.

The synopsis is rather straightforward, the anime is mainly a slice of life type of story of three new voice actresses who have just started out in the industry. At a glance, it looks like a bunch of young moe girls trying their luck in the voice acting business with limited success; hilarity ensues.
