The hooded lady web-swinger is making an official appearance in Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man animated series!
She will be making her debut in the four-parter “Return to the Spider-Verse” storyline where Spider-Man and Miles Morales visit some of Marvels’ alternate realities and encounter many of their alternate universe counterparts.
Each season of Ultimate Spider-Man has its own subtitle, with the current season going by Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister Six, with the upcoming storyline set to close the season with a bang; with new characters and settings. Some of the characters that will be making their appearance are Wolf Spider, Blood Spider, Spider Cowboy, Web Bear and Webslinger.
Spider-Gwen is Earth 65’s resident webslinger, where that alternate universe saw Gwen Stacey getting bitten by a radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker, becoming Spider-Woman. Parker eventually becomes jealous of her newfound powers and becomes an alternate version of the villain Lizard.
Return to the Spider-Verse premieres 27 August 2016 on Disney XD, with Spider-Gwen to appear on 17 September 2016 in episode four of the season.
