Square Enix’s presentation at E3 2015 didn’t pull any punches as they delivered series of impressive announcements in the shape of Deux Ex: Mankind Divided, Kingdom Hearts and Rise of Tomb Raider.

We finally have a look at the video trailer with gameplay footage featuring Adam Jensen, the protagonist for most of the newer games. Mary Demarle, lead writer for this game, revealed that the story takes place two years after the conclusion of Human Revolution. The hero started as a covert operator in an anti-terror task force trying to find out if the group is being manipulated by a powerful cabal for their own ends.

In Mankind Divided the “choices and consequences” is more decisive and certain so the ending would  completely depend on what players decide, according to the writer.

The game is poised to strike PC, PS4 and Xbox One in early next year, according to Square Enix.

Next, we look at Rise of Tomb Raider starring Lara Croft trying to survive in wilderness of cold Siberian wasteland. Set after the events we seen in Tomb Raider 2013, the heroine is going through some tough times reconciling of what she just experienced and decides to find the truth behind the myths around the world.

Players will follow her and Jonah Maiava searching the hostile cold wasteland of Siberia to find the ancient city of Kitezh built by the Grand Prince of Vladimir during 13th century. It is said that the city might hold a key to the secret of immortality. However she is not alone as another bunch of people, Trinity, a well funded organization is also going after the same thing. Not only that, she has to deal with wildlife like wolves or grizzly bears while make do from the surroundings to survive in the cold environment.

The game is set to jump off late this year on Xbox.

And then we have Kingdom Hearts III.

Square Enix is pretty cagey about the details but it does look spectacular. No release date and not much is known about the upcoming chapter of Disney/Square Enix collaboration effort. All we get is, “Now in development.” Of course if you look closely at the trailer you will notice a few things that hint of what’s to come in the third installment; namely Rapunzel’s tower from Tangled has been confirmed as one of the places you will get to visit.

Kingdom Hearts III is  slated for PS4 and Xbox One.
