Nintendo of America has confirmed they will release Squid Girl costumes and crossover items to the U.S version of Splatoon Wii U game as an update. The update also includes 40 pieces of new gear, two new weapons types, squad battles, private battles, a level cap increase, a rank battle level increase, new music as well as updates to the Urchin Underpass.
Previously, Nintendo had streamed snippets of three of the new music which were snippets from Ink or Swim, Hooked, and Shellfie. Furthermore, Nintendo had posted and image of the lead characters of Squid Girl and Splatoon with ink-squirting guns on Twitter.
