Paramount Pictures have released a new trailer for the next Star Trek flick, Star Trek: Beyond and it gives a glimpse at the beginning of the end.
The new trailer, which runs to the tune of Rihanna’s new song “Sledgehammer” that was produced just for the film; we see Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) talk about the future.
While he believes that the U.S.S Enterprise and his crew will carry on their adventures across the cosmos, this will be his last mission. He has spent years trying to live up to the legacy of his father and it’s now time for him to rediscover himself.
The trailer also highlights some of the troubles that the crew will encounter along the way, expect space battles. Bones, Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto all make appearances in the trailer.
Star Trek: Beyond will be in theaters starting 22 July.
