Star Wars Battlefront‘s successor is on its way, as announced by Electronic Arts today.
The sequel for Battlefront has apparently been in discussion since the launch of the original game way back in late 2015, but at least we have a name, albeit a pretty obvious one.
There aren’t much details on the game yet but we expect it to be following the same general formula as the first game. The trailer will drop during a panel at Star Wars Celebration 2017 in mid-April, so we will be waiting for that to make its appearance. For those who can’t catch it in person, the panel will be livestreamed at 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, 15 April.
As for the release date, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is scheduled to be released this fall across most platforms.
