EA’s Star Wars shooter, Star Wars Battlefront is headed to the PlayStation VR and the VR version its going to be exclusive to Sony’s virtual reality headset.
Star Wars Battlefront is a Star Wars themed action-shooter released by EA some time back, which features multiplayer online play. Its pretty cool that they want it on VR but we can’t quite imagine how it would play just yet.
“This will be a Star Wars Battlefront gaming experience like nothing else,” said Andrew House, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, “where players can transport themselves to a galaxy far, far away.”
The VR version of Battlefront is currently in development by DICE, with the title being exclusive to the PlayStation VR. Unfortunately there isn’t any footage of the VR version out yet but Sony says they’ll be dropping more details when the time comes.
