The side scrolling adventure for mobile, Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions is set to receive a new update that’s timed with the premiere of Star Wars Rebels, the show that it is based on. THe update will include new characters and two free ice levels.
Star Wars Rebels is going to hit its 2nd season on Disney XD (Astro Ch 617 SD, Astro Ch 637 HD) and the Disney Channel (Astro Ch 615) on 24 October 2015, with Recon Missions being released earlier this year in March.
As it is, the game already allows you to explore most of the Star Wars Rebels universe, have epic boss battles with your favourite characters from the series on top of other challenges that further unlock levels and other cool loot for you to play with.
The new update will feature none other than Hera and Ahsoka as new purchasable characters as well as two free ice levels for players to battle the elements while they infiltrate an Imperial fortress.
This includes revamped character upgrades plus new quests and challenges to help the citizens in the Haven as well as build and fortify new structures to keep the Haven safe.
