Blizzard’s StarCraft II Protoss campaign we’ve been eagerly waiting for has officially begun it’s beta testing phase! This campaign is the last one in line following Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm and supposedly will be the one where we find all the answers to the current turns of events in game, including that of the Xel’Naga.
The beta includes a whole heap of new units, abilities and gameplay changes, including a multiplayer. Best part you only need a Battle.net account in order to join. If you already have signed up and have a Battle.net account, you will be automatically flagged (assuming you are chosen) and will have the option to test out the game directly from your Battle.net desktop app. The actual keys will be made available at a later date which Blizzard will announce.
Simply head on over to your Beta Profile Settings in your Battle.net account management and check the box for StarCraft, then click Update preferences and you pretty much are ready to go. Beta testers from the pool will be chosen based on system specs, recent StarCraft II activity and what Blizzard says is a pinch of luck.
You can check out the rest of the FAQ here, or just enjoy the beta overview runthrough!
