We might see revival of the beloved adventure hero Indiana Jones if everything goes well. Reportedly, Steven Spielberg is interested to make another film if Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World) agrees to be Dr Jones in the reboot.
After all, who wants the franchise to end on a sour note with Legend of the Crystal Skull (2008)?
Sources reported that the director is hoping to find a decent script first and the project is in the very early development phase now. The rumours started early this year when Disney was looking for ways to restart the franchise right after they bought it from Paramount Pictures, with interest to get the actor who is still glowing after box office success of Guardians of the Galaxy.
Other potential stars to take up the mantle of Dr Jones are Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth and American Sniper‘s Bradley Cooper. So far, Disney did not either confirm nor deny the speculations. Also, it will depend on the box office performance of the Jurassic World, if it does well, it might spur Disney to push for inclusion of the Star Lord as the next Dr Jones.
Now let’s hope they can reboot it to erase the traumatic memories of the last Indiana Jones movie. What do you think of it, comment below and let us know.
