Singapore’s SMRT is planning on decking out their trains to the themes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in prep for the movie we’ve all been waiting for.
In partnership with Disney and LucasFilms, commuters on the service will get to ride on Star-Wars themed trains starting the middle of this month. The trains themselves will feature imagery of characters from the movie like Kylo Ren and the droids R2-D2, C3PO and BB-8. This is following the landing of a to-scale X-Wing in Changi airport in November.
Shoppers at SMRT shops, Kallang Wave and iMOBShop.sg will be able to purchase limited edition collectibles, as well as a chance to win trips to Dubai for the Middle East Film and Comic Con 2016.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will open in Malaysian theatres on 17 December 2015, and is the next installment of a thrilling saga that spans a galaxy a long time ago, far, far away.
