Miyuki Abe’s (Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni kike!, Hakkenden: Tōhō Hakken Ibun) boy-love manga, Super Lovers is going to get anime adaptation. This was announced in handout of the reprint of Shungiku Nakamura’s first manga volume of √W.P.B. However there is zero information as to when it will be out or the format of the show.
The manga was launched in Kadokawa’s Ciel back in 2010 and switched to Emerald in May 2014. So far, seven tankubon mangas of Super Lovers is out in the market.
The story is about Haru, a school boy who is forced by his mother to “connect and civilize” his adoptive brother Ren who is a wild and reckless boy with anti social tendencies to boot. Undoubtedly, things were shaky at first but they got closer as they begin to understand each other as time goes by.
This will be second of Miyuki Abe’s work to be adapted into anime, the mangaka’s previous work, Hakkenden: Tōhō Hakken Ibun is adapted into two seasons anime back in early 2013 as Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East.
