Looks like there will be more Supergirl and The Flash crossovers, but this time its going to be a multi-episode muscial!
Crossovers aren’t all that rare between shows residing in the “Arrowverse” aka Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and most recently Supergirl. The Flash and Supergirl already had a crossover episode a bit back, and they’re wanting more.
The episodes will feature primarily pre-existing songs but they will be trying to have at least one original song per episode. But don’t worry, it won’t be random breaking into song ala Disney:
“We’ll be careful about how they’ll break into song. There will be an element that they’ll probably be in a character’s head so it’s not too disruptive,” said producer Greg Berlanti.
They haven’t confirmed who the villain is yet but Music Meister, a villain from the Flash looks like a good bet, especially since he usually commits musically themed crimes. And uses mind control to make people commit said crimes while singing and dancing.
Music Meister was last portrayed in live-action in Brave and the Bold by Neil Patrick Harris. Maybe he’ll be back one more time? who knows.
