Warner Bros. has finally began work on the Superman sequel, Man of Steel 2 despite the poor box office reviews.
Fans have been hoping for a proper sequel to the movie, despite the general bad ratings (and then Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice happened) and poor monetary returns being just some of the nails in the coffin for another movie based on the Kryptonian.
Man of Steel returned Superman to the big screen in 2013, directed by Zack Snyder and serving as one of the first pushes for DC to start their slew of comic movies. Also, Superman is supposedly dead in some manner, having being put under in BatSup but there were hints that he’s not as dead as we think.
There no indication as to when we can expect Man of Steel 2 to come around but Warner Bros. has two DC comics movies to release 5 October 2018 and 1 November 2019, either one could end up being Man of Steel 2.
