Netflix has outed a trailer for the upcoming Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny flick, which will see the return of Michelle Yeoh for one more film.
This sequel to the original Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon will be an epic story of “lost love, young love, a legendary sword and one last opportunity at redemption” with a healthy heaping of action and martial arts battles. The story is set a good 20 years after the events of the first movie and follows four heroes who are trying to protect the Green Destiny sword. So expect beautiful martial arts choreography and action packed battles!
The movie will be directed by renowned martial arts choreographer Yuen Wo-Ping (The Matrix, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, Tai Chi Master) with Michelle Yeoh once again taking the role of Yu Shu-Lien and Donnie Yen (Ip Man) as Silent Wolf.
The film will hit Netflix 26 February 2016 and will be released in select IMAX theaters.
