The Wonder Woman movie’s first full trailer has dropped and it’s looking amazing. Video after the jump.
Since her appearance in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, we’ve been looking forward to seeing her in her own stand alone movie, and if the trailer is any indication, we’re getting some solid story and action.
Gal Gadot dropped this quote in a recent interview with EW:
“It is a big responsibility. We knew we wanted to tell a story that would inspire people: women, men, boys, and girls. And we didn’t want to just show a generic story of a superhero coming of age. We wanted her to be full and whole. I feel that I’ve got the opportunity to set a great role model for girls to look up to a strong, active, compassionate, loving, positive woman and I think it’s so important. It’s about time that somebody will do that and I’m very privileged and honored to be the one.”
Wonder Woman opens 2 June 2017, and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner, Elena Anaya, Florence Kasumba and Saïd Taghmaoui.
