The official site for Accel World released a promo video recently for their new Accel World: Infinite Burst anime project. The new project will be a brand new story written by Reki Kawahara, who also wrote the original Accel World manga.
The video also details the returning staff and cast, which would be a welcome sight for any fans of the series.
The series writing will be handled by Reki Kawahara, with Masakazu Obara as director, Character Design and Animation by Yukiko Aikei, Duel Avatar Design and Action Director Yousuke Kabashima and the animation production will be by Sunrise.
As for the voice cast, we will have Sachika Misawa as Kuroyukihime, Yuuki Kaji as Haruyuki, Aki Toyosaki as Chiyuri and Shintaro Asanuma as Takumu.
Kazuma Miki, the editor-in-chief for Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko imprint, said that the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival will see the series getting new characters. No word yet on when exactly the new anime is going to debut, but they’ll likely announce it when the time comes.
