Nintendo will be porting in GameCube games to the Nintendo Switch via Virtual Console; letting us play games like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Luigi’s Mansion.
Both said GameCube titles are already slated for Nintendo’s new system, with Animal Crossing also to join the roster of ported games.
The news comes from a report by Eurogamer, and given that the Wii, Wii U and 3DS have all had Virtual Console services available to run previous gen Nintendo games, its great that the Switch will be carrying on that tradition.
