There have been rumours of a possible Predator reboot, but their official Facebook page has just teased the hunter aliens return.
The teaser came in the form of a poster image stating “You’ll never see him coming” with the title “The Predator” attached. Rather generic we admit but it certainly looks reboot-friendly.
The new Predator movie is being handled by Shane Black (he also appeared as Hawkins in the 1987 original) alongside Fred Dekker. Black has also worked on screenplays like Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Monster Squad, Robocop 3 and more recently, Iron Man 3.
The original Predator debuted in 1987, and was followed by Predator 2 in 1990, subsequently spawned a bunch of Alien vs. Predator films and a third stand-alone movie Predators.
No word on when the new movie is coming out, but we’ll probably get a trailer at the very least in the immediate future.
