The one and only R2-D2 inspired ANA JET is heading to Singapore from Japan and they’re now making it possible for a few lucky fans to experience the jet for themselves.
The Boeing 787 jet, which was unveiled earlier in September this year, will feature a themed interior and will show Star Wars movies (episodes 4 to 6) on the flight. This is one of three Star Wars themed jets to roll out, with the next one to be themed on the BB-8 droid.
The contest, which is currently running from now till 25 October will give a bunch of lucky fans a chance to board the jet and experience the special Star Wars cabin at Changi Airport. Among the prizes are R2D2 ANA Jet special commemorative goods and exclusive models of the plane itself. If you were hoping to get to hop on an actual flight, that’s not one of the prizes, sorry!
Sadly, the contest is only available for Singaporean residents so no luck for us Malaysians. Still, its really cool that they flew in the plane just for this, and we’re rightly jealous.
