We’re certainly getting our fill of trailers this week, and after just getting random set photos, the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie finally has a trailer!
The cast for Full Metal Alchemist includes Ryosuke Yamada (member of boy band Hey! Say! JUMP) as protagonist Edward Elric, Tsubasa Honda (Kishūteneki Terminal) as sidekick Winry Rockbell, and Dean Fujioka (The Pinkertons) as Elric’s superior officer, Colonel Roy Mustang.
Other actors confirmed for the film are Natsuna Watanabe as Maria Ross, Jun Kunimura as Doctor Marco, Kanata Hongou as Envy, and Kenjiro Ishimaru as Father Cornello.
Without further ado, here’s the trailer:
So far we’re pretty impressed, there shouldn’t be too much left to the imagination due to the film following the original manga but we’re still quite interested in seeing how it plays out. They’ve already teased a fight scene so the action buffs will have something to look forward to at least.
The movie is slated for a Winter 2017 release.
