Natsume Inc. and is finally bringing a Harvest Moon game to the PC, with the release of Harvest Moon: Light of Hope for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
PC users have been waiting a really long time for a Harvest Moon game on the platform, so much so when Stardew Valley was released last year, we all threw up our hands and rejoiced, even if it was somewhat a clone of the extremely popular farming sim.
As the story goes, your character arrives at a small harbor town after a shipwreck and works to repair the lighthouse and rebuild the town. Not too different from the series usual formula, and you’re able to make friend and start a family too, core elements of the Harvest Moon series. Natsume together with Rising Star Games are also working on a mobile app called Harvest Moon Lil’ Farmers; as well as a re-release of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, Save the Homeland for the PS4 and Harvest Moon 64 on the Wii U.
The devs for the game plan to reveal it during E3 this year, with playable demos available on PC and the Nintendo Switch.
