Returning to society, he begins a new life by creating rakugo – a form of comic storytelling.
Initially a manga by Haruko Kumota, which bagged the “Best General Manga” prize at the 38th Kodansha Manga Awards and the Excellence Award at the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards, the anime is directed by Mamoru Hatakeyama of Sankarea: Undying Love.
