While fans and cosplayers have made amazing replicas of Artoria Pendragon (Saber) ‘s Excalibur from the anime, Bandai’s high-end toy line, Proplica have recreated this amazing version of Saber’s sword. Complete with lights, sounds and of course, Saber’s voice.
The sword is part of a collaboration between Proplica and the three-part Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel anime film project. For those not in the know, this sword, in particular, is Saber’s Excalibur: Sword of Promised Victory.
The life-sized Excalibur will be 115 cm long (about 45 inches from hilt to tip) and new recordings of Saber’s voice will be made just for this replica. It will also be able to replicate Excalibur’s Invisible Air: Bounded Field of the Wind King sheath, which renders the sword invisible in the anime.
