Remember Time Crisis? The popular arcade shooter game that allowed players to use pedals for cover and action is back with a fifth chapter, starting its operations in Japan arcade scene since 12 March 2015 despite the official opening date being 18 March 2015. The last arcade version of Time Crisis appeared back in 2006.
What so different about this one is the new pedal system that actually allows players to move left or right as seen in the video below for more tactical play. This enable players to flank his/her enemies instead usual fixed, linear frontal assault in the older titles. For example, players might confront an enemy hiding behind a ballistics shield, impervious to gunfire. Now, a player then can move to right or left to gun down the shielded enemy since he is not protected at his sides.
The gun system has also been revamped for a more realistic feel and has a switch button mounted on it for more choices to players. The button on the guns allowing players to switch weapons from basic sidearm to assault rifles, rocket launcher or grenade launcher on the fly.
Besides that, three new stages have been added and more weapons featured in this game too. Now, how much you will bet that the eternal evil guy, Wild Dog will appear in this one too?
