8. Ninja Slayer
Yes we know the title sounds pretty weird but what do you expect from the people that brought you Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagaan.
And like it’s fellow produced anime of before, Ninja Slayer from Animation is another brainless, hot blooded action anime (with lots of shouting we’re guessing)… this time with NINJAS.
As weird as the title sounds, it does also seem a bit badass. Come on, anything with Ninja Slayer in it ought to. As for the story itself, well that’s another doozy. It’s not really based on a novel. No it’s based of the Tweets of couple of Japanophile Americans, Bradley Bond and Philip “Ninj@” Morzez. Those tweets were then compiled and translated into novels with subsequent manga adaptations. And now the anime is out.
Expect the fluid and dynamic action sequences you saw in Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagaan, paired with good camera angles to maximize the impact of the action on the screen. And it has freaking ninjas, so what else can an anime fan can ask for?
Watch this if: You love mindless action and lots of action sequences… and NINJAS! (Pretty obvious we do)
