District 9 director is back, after being invisible for the past couple of years. Under his latest project, Oats Studios, Blomkamp is working on a series of shorts titled Volume 1 and will be released on Steam.

This is a weird one, isn’t it? But it sure does look like Blomkamp is back in his wheelhouse, working on something he’s passionate about. This Volume 1 trailer features a crazy mashup of bloody imagery, a dystopian setting and freaking SIGOURNEY WEAVER.
I have no idea, what Volume 1 is going to be about, but I sure as hell can’t wait!
