UNIQLO has just announced the details for their T-Shirt (UT) Grand Prix 2017 design contest, and they want you to send in Nintendo themed entries!
Yes, this year’s theme is none other than Nintendo, who has given us beloved franchises such as The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros. and Pokemon.
The designs will have to be based on Nintendo’s IPS, and can include but aren’t restricted to Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Pikmin, Metroid Prime, Splatoon, Kirby and Star Fox.
The competition is open to anyone worldwide, with entries to close 31 August 2016. Winners will be announced Spring 2017 and will take home up to $10,000 USD in prize money as well as get to go to a special award ceremony in Japan.
The ceremony will be attended by Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Super Mario Bros and other hit classics. Among the prizes is Nintendo’s mysterious Nintendo NX console.
