SDCC 2015 has revealed a few new clues about the principal baddie and his cohorts would be like in the upcoming X-Men movie. Bryan Singer even hinted how bloody and messy it would be in his Instagram video:
The poster below shows how Apocalypse or En Sabah Nur will look like in portrait view, he does not differ very much from the comic version of him. Below the portrait is what is left of Xavier Institute too, hinting of things to come in the movie.
According to Oscar Isaac who is playing the role of the villain, the character will be a mix of practical and digital effects, complete with some robotic technology. He teased :
“He has total control over the molecules of his body, enabling him to alter his form as it suits him, such as allowing his body to become extremely malleable and flexible or change its size, enhance his physical abilities, transform his limbs into weapons, wings, or jets, regenerate from fatal injuries, adapt his body to apparently any disease or hostile environment, and give himself virtually any physical superhuman power.”
We also find out who will be the Four Horsemen in the movie. The very symbol of Death, War, Pestilence and Famine in movie will be Angel/Archangel (Ben Hardy), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Storm (Alexandra Shipp) and Magneto (Fassbender). Oscar Isaac said that Apocalypse greatest ability is to persuade other powerful mutants to work under him. The X-Men will definitely have a formidable challenge in the epic struggle that is set to be shown in cinemas on 27 May 2016.
