Metal Gear x Uniqlo
Yes it’s Uniqlo again. Like we said before, the Japanese fashion retailer isn’t a stranger to video game collaborations and the never did stop with the Monster Hunter line. Konami’s iconic video game, Metal Gear also saw a collaboration with the Japanese brand when they celebrated the game’s 25th anniversary back in 2012.
Though the collaboration did not run as long the Monster Hunter collaboration, it still brought in a sizeable amount of designs, with 14 of them in total.
It seems that the collaboration with Konami was to be a one-off thing as since then, there has not been any new Metal Gear x UT releases. A shame though considering the designs were pretty awesome.
And with the troubles that Konami is going through right now, and how the Metal Gear franchise is seemingly in trouble due to creators Hideo Kojima’s departure from the company, maybe a new collaboration with Uniqlo might be able to at least get them back in a more positive light.
