Super Mario Brothers x Moschino
This collaboration is fairly recent. The Italian fashion brand and the house of Mario (Nintendo) recently announced the collaboration project back in 2015 and was called the Super Moschino project.
The collaboration also marked the 30th anniversary of the Super Mario franchise and would see the characters from the game (Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Koopa, etc) being woven on to a variety of fashion items including shirts, bucket bags, backpacks and more.
Considering that Jeremy Scott is now the fashion director of Moschino, we’re pretty sure that we’ll be seeing some pretty whacky designs out from them. After all, when you consider the stuff he has done for Adidas (Teddy bear shoes, winged shoes) and the SpongeBob, McDonalds inspired stuff he’s done, this partnership might just be perfect.
