The official site for anime film trilogy of Shuichi Shigeno’s street car racing manga Initial D has started showcasing a visual key for third chapter. The film is titled Shin Gekijo-ban Initial D: Legend D 3-Mugen- / 新劇場版 頭文字［イニシャル］D Legend3-夢現- , the visual key is featuring Ryosuke Takahashi and his signature car FC3S RX-7. The Chinese meaning behind “夢現” is Dream and Reality whereas the pronunciation “Mugen” is translated as Infinity.
The trilogy project started back in August 2014 with the sequel aired in May 2015 later on. The final chapter is expected to drift into the cinemas in spring 2016.
However we don’t know who will be in the production of the third movie but we can reasonably expect the main voice actor to stay the same, people like Mamoru Miyano (Durarara!!) as Takumi the tofu racer, Hiraoki Hirata (Black Lagoon‘s Benny the hacker) as Bunta Fujiwara and Maaya Uchida (Chunnibyou demo Koi ga Shita!) as Natsuki Mogi.
