Recently wowing the internet as being one of the slimmest smartphones on the market, the vivo X5Max is finally hitting Malaysian shores.
Coming in at 5.08mm thick, which is quite a bit thicker than the previously claimed 4.75mm thickness due to it’s larger battery for the Malaysian version. The smartphone is also the first smartphone with built in Hi-Fi standard 2.0 and to manages to fit a 3.5mm audio jack on that slim frame.
Running the device is a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615, 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage that can support up to 128GB of storage via it’s microSD slot, which also doubles as a secondary SIM card slot. Juicing up the X5 Max is a non-removable 2,300mAh capacity battery
As for the OS, it will run on vivo’s Funtouch OS 2.0 which is based on Android 4.4 KitKat and it will sport a 5.5 Super AMOLED 1080p display as well as a 13 megapixel rear camera with a wide F2.0 aperture and 6P lens. The front snapper is a 5 megapixel wide-angle lens for those who like selfies.
The vivo X5Max will be hitting the market effective immediately and will be retailed at RM 1,799.
