Naruto and his allies

Viz Media and the United Talent Agency (UTA) have teamed up to produce some live-action projects from Viz’s library of published manga. Does this mean we’re getting more Naruto movies?

They haven’t yet mentioned which movies they are going to pick yet from its library of series, but they’re behind the North American releases of popular manga series like Naruto, Tokyo Ghoul and One-Punch Man to name a few.

Viz’s first live-action film was the Edge of Tomorrow, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt; a film adapted from the manga All You Need is Kill which was also published by the company.

Lionsgate is also working on their own live-action Naruto flick, while Warner Bros. is working on a live action Death Note film as well.

No idea when Viz Media is going to release their list of mangas that are destined to become live-action movies, but we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground.
