Warner Bros. has just made available this awesome collectors edition set for The Iron Giant, which can be pre-ordered on Amazon. Check it out here.
Coming in at $75 bucks for the package (that’s about RM 294) the package is quite literally chock full of collectible goodies any fan of The Iron Giant will appreciate.
The set includes the Blu-ray (with both The Iron Giant: Signature Edition and original theatrical edition)32-page hardcover art book, collectible Mondo art cards, a letter from director Brad Bird and most importantly a 4-inch tall plastic articulated statue of the Iron Giant himself.
The Blu-ray also will contain The Giant’s Dream documentary (which in turn has concept art, interviews and the history behind this iconic piece) a personal letter from director Brad Bird, Signature Edition Trailer and theatrical commentary him as well.
On top of that, there will be extra scenes (specifically an alternate opening) with mini-documentary segments, Duck and Cover sequence, Teddy Newton: The X-Factor, The Voice of the Giant as well as a motion gallery. That’s a lot of stuff.
If you can’t grab the collector’s edition, you can still get the standalone Blu-ray for $15 and it will have all the above listed loot within.
The Iron Giant collectors edition and Blu-ray will hit the market 6 September 2016.
