Blizzard Entertainment’s Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft surpassed the 50 million registered players milestone, before the arrival of its latest expansion set, Whispers of the Old Gods.
The expansion set sees the addition of 134 tentacled themed cards to the existing Hearthstone lineup, including the legendary Old God themselves: C’Thun, N’Zoth, Yogg-Saron, and Y’Shaarj.
In celebration of the launch, players who log into Hearthstone will receive three Whispers of the Old Gods card packs free, for a limited run.
For the first pack of Whispers of the Old Gods pack opened, players will receive the legendary Old God, C’Thun along with two Beckoner of Evil cards.
Card packs of the expansion are available to players through the in-game shop at the same price to all other Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft card pack.
Also, Players could also get their hands on the expansion set through quest rewards, or prizes in the Arena. You could also craft from the expansion by using Arcane Dust, which is collected from disenchanting unwanted cards.
