Fans are wondering what or who Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) is fighting against in the trailer of Batman v Superman. She is deploying her short sword and shield, gritting her teeth against this unseen opponent.
Well, one of the source claims that they know what or who she is fighting against.
Heroic Hollywood posted a claim that she is dueling against Doomsday, the DC’s super villain who killed Superman in the comics. She supposedly chop off the Doomsday’s hand in a display of skill but Doomsday effortlessly grew a blade made of bones from his severed hand.
In the comics, Doomsday is a product of Kryptonian research gone wrong, a mindless monster that slaughters and destroys everything; including the Man of Steel himself. He is an awesome enemy that is difficult to beat. In the movie trailer, we saw the corpse of General Zod being escorted into some kind of Army research facility. Perhaps there is a connection there?
It will be neat if Wonder Woman takes down this beast singlehandedly in the combat, a strong incentive for viewers to be interested to watch her solo movie too.
If Heroic Hollywood is correct then we might get one hell of introduction of Wonder Woman in cinemas on 25 March 2016.
