The Malaysian leg of the World Cosplay Summit 2018 is happening this weekend, bringing together not only cosplay enthusiasts but much, much more!
Created to promote international exchange through the Japanese youth culture of manga and anime, the Malaysian event is one of the most exclusive and premiere events in the scene.
As for the event itself, there’s far more than just the cosplay competition. Among the highlights of the event are guest performances by singing talents, Johan, Minori and YukiGodBless+JiakiDarkness, guest cosplayer workshops, GSC anime screening as well as the MWC MY Pre-festival 2018. Aside from these, there will also be the J-Kara Singing Competition and the Tech/Game Development Conference 2018 where there will be a 28-hour hackathon!
World Cosplay Summit Malaysia takes place from 14-15 July at The Rift, MidValley Megamall for the region preliminary rounds before contestants hit the finals at Nagoya Japan on 28 July later this month.
