The latest and final trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse, unearthed some interesting fact regarding the movie. Particularly, the appearance of Wolverine’s claws at the end of the video.To take on their most powerful enemy to date, Apocalypse, it seems that X-Men are pulling out all the stops. It does not stop at Wolverine’s appearance alone.
It is possible that we will see Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey transform into the Phoenix for X-Men: Apocalypse. As a still shot for the trailers depicts her breaking glass with her screams could imply something more than her telekinesis powers could afford.
The trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse is also a treasure trove of revelations, as the footage reveals more than just powerful mutants. The father-son relationship of Quicksilver and Magneto is explained to Jennifer Lawrence’s Raven through some hand gestures by Evan Peters, who plays the speedster.
The relationship of Raven and Nightcrawler is also explored in the movie, as the footage shows a bewildered Nightcrawler exclaiming “You’re her!” In the comics the pair has been revealed to be mother-son while it is not yet certain, it remains a possibility for X-Men: Apocalypse.
Micheal Fassbender’s Magneto’s role as one of Apocalypse’s Horsemen also holds some mysteries.
In response to Professor X’s pleas against joining Apocalypse, the master of magnetism replied, “Whatever it is you think you saw in me, I buried it with my family.”
Some believe, this could make room for Apocalypse’s servant Mister Sinister to be included in the picture so that Magneto’s family could be taken care of to ensure Magneto enlist as a Horsemen.
X-Men: Apocalypse will see a team of young X-Men lead by Raven take on Apocalypse and his four horsemen, Magneto, Angel, Psylocke and Storm.
In the wake of the clever promotional videos, the Coldwell Banker X-Mansion listing and the mockumentary, In the Footsteps of… En Sabah Nur, this mystery packed and action filled trailer proves to be just the right footage to welcome X-Men: Apocalypse arrival in cinemas on May 27.
