With the Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions film coming out next year, its no surprise that they’re already busting out the merch. Of the original characters they are bringing back for the movie, Dark Magician Girl is the first to get cast in plastic.

For those familiar with the series, Dark Magician Girl is one of the first cards used by Yugi in the Battle City arc, and here she is reproduced as a 1/7 scale figurine. This particular figure is titled “Movie Edition” (probably due to it being similar to what we are going to see in the movie) and was crafted by Kotobukiya under the supervision of Yu-Gi-Oh! creator Kazuki Takahashi. Kotobukiya also produced another Dark Magician Girl earlier this year with a different pose.

Its safe to assume they will reproduce more character figures as the movie date comes closer, as the demand will probably be pretty significant.

The first edition of the figure will also come with a “movie edition” Kuriboh, and will retail for 9,000 yen (about RM 317). The figure will officially ship in March next year. You can check out more of the figure’s details in the gallery below:
