Things aren’t looking too good for Master Chief, in the latest live-action trailer for Halo 5 : Guardians.
The new trailer, which premiered very recently is apparently mourning the loss of our Master Chief. But without any true confirmation what actually happened (because the authorities decided to openly withhold details) its likely that Master Chief would just be classified as MIA.
Its pretty unlikely they are going to actually kill off the series’ iconic hero so we do wonder what the plot has up its sleeves. Especially since they show a clip of his “lights going out” that probably aims at putting out more tearjerker value for those who do follow the series.
Also launched alongside the trailer is this interactive visualiser that lets you check out what other people are saying about the trailer and what happens in it. Its a nice touch.
Halo 5 : Guardians is set to premier on the Xbox One on 27 October 2015, so check out the trailer below.
