Bethesda has dropped the details on the open beta for the latest iteration of Doom, alongside a new trailer.
This follows last weeks announcement of the open beta, which starts on 15- 17th April on multiple platforms, inclusive of Play Station 4, Xbox One and PC.
Players on the beta will have access to two maps; Heatwave and Infernal as well as two game modes; 6v6 team Deathmatch and Warpath. The gameplay clip also reveals that players could play as a demon; specifically a Revenant in the latest installment of Doom.

They’ll also be able to get their hands on 7 weapons; Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Super Shotgun, Vortex Rifle, Static Rifle, Heavy Assault Rifle, and Lightning Gun as well as the super powerful Gauss Cannon.
In addition to the weapons, and two grenades, frag and siphon grenades, a personal teleporter are also available for the open beta sessions.
For those not in the loop, Doom is a reboot of the popular series set to be released on May 13th, this would the first release of the series since Doom 3 which was released in 2004.
The beta test will be available to preload from 12th April.
