A few new images have come up for the live-action movie adaption for Full Metal Alchemist, and we get another look at the brothers.
Both images feature Ryosuke Yamada as Edward Elric, the first which you can see above is with younger brother Alphonse Elric and the second with Ed fighting some beast. The shot looks a lot like something from the teaser trailer that was released some time back.
In an alchemical ritual gone wrong, Edward Elric lost his arm and his leg, and his brother Alphonse became nothing but a soul in a suit of armor. Equipped with mechanical “auto-mail” limbs, Edward becomes a state alchemist, seeking the one thing that can restore his and his brother’s bodies…the legendary Philosopher’s Stone.
The movie is set to release in Japan in 2017 this year. You can catch the teaser trailer below:
