Following the overwhelming success of the #ToyTravel (Nui-Dori) campaign last year, Canon is bringing it back for a whole new season, this time they’re partnering up with Pokemon as the “Perfect Adventure Buddy.”
“But wait! What on earth is #ToyTravel?” you ask?
Well, #ToyTravel is basically the art of photography whereby toys imitate life. This campaign is meant to be spontaneous and most importantly, fun! It can be photos of anything from a selfie of you and a figurine chilling by the pool enjoying the gentle breeze, to a jump shot with your favourite plush toy atop a mountain you just hiked. The possibilities are endless, limited only by your imagination.
Naohiko Hayashi, Senior Director and General Manager for Regional ICP Sales and Marketing had this to say:
“#ToyTravel Season 1 was very well received, and this art of photography has demonstrated that fun and creative picture moments are abound wherever we way. We’ve chosen to partner Pokemon for Season 2 as they are well-loved by people of all ages, and that universal appeal makes Pokemon the perfect travel buddy for the EOS M10 photographer.”
Bro, got prizes or not?
Of course! From May to July 2017, Canon will be opening this photo challenge to the public. Participants are required to incorporate the given themes into their photos. What is the EOS M10? Sounds like a weapon in Counter-Strike.
No no. The EOS M10 is the lightest camera in Canon’s EOS M range of high performance mirrorless, interchangeable-lens camera. The EOS M10 delivers superior images and allows users to capture and share spontaneous moments while on the go, making the camera a great companion for urbanites of today.
