There’s a new Gundam anime set to be released this June and it will be based on the adaptation of the light novel Twilight Axis, written by Kojiro Nakamura, and published by Ark Performance.

It is important to note that Gundam Twilight Axis is a direct sequel to Gundam Unicorn and has absolutely nothing to do with the manga Crossbone Gundam.

Interestingly, this anime will only have six episodes, which includes five three-minute episodes and three eight-minute episodes. The pilot episode will stream on a few different platforms.

Here are the places you will be able to watch it on:

The proceeding episodes will stream exclusively on the Gundam Fan Club every other week.

After much anticipation, the new promotional video (above) finally sheds some light on the cast involved in the anime.

The cast includes:

  • Risa Shimizu as Arlette Armaju, a Zeon mobile weapons engineer during the One Year War.
  • Shuuhei Sakaguchi as Danton Haileg, a former test pilot based out of Axis, serving under the Principality of Zeon, and later the Neo Zeon.
  • Daisuke Ono as Mehmet Merka, a member of the “Cabinet Department 6” intelligence unit of the Earth Federation, a first lieutenant, and commanding officer of the Earth Federation’s “Mastima” spec-ops unit.
  • Toshiki Masuda as Quentin Fermo, an augmented human who works for the mysterious “Barnum” paramilitary group, and attacks the “Mastima” unit investigating Axis.

Gundam Twilight Axis will be helmed by Se Jun Kim who will be making his directorial debut.
