Square Enix is doing a remake of Secret of Mana 2, and its set to hit multiple platforms come 2018.

Set with a 15 February, 2018 release date for Steam, the PS4 and the PSVita, the original game was released in 1993 as Seiken Densetsu 2 on the SNES.

This is great considering that a Mana collection with Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 released for the Nintendo Switch in Japan, also the fact that Steam users are gonna get a remake as well makes me pretty happy.

The remake will include full voice overs (there seems to be English in the trailer but we hope we get Japanese voice as well) alongside new music arrangements and upgraded gameplay elements. It will also include online multiplayer (!) of up to three players, with the Vita version to use local multiplayer.

Japan’s getting a special limited edition bundle for the game too, don’t know if the west will be getting it, but do check out the trailer below!
