Star Wars UCS Millenium Falcon

Ever since teasers and leaks of the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) surfaced months back, there’s been a huge anticipation by LEGO and Star Wars fans for the set by the house of brick.

With the big reveal set for September 1, more leaks via social media have come out and for once, we get to see this highly anticipated set in its entirety, box and all.

Images of the set were recently spotted on an in Italian LEGO Catalogue and this is the first time we’re seeing what the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon set is going to look like, with its box.

The images that were first shared by Twitter user Windyjango, clearly shows that the set is indeed a remake of the legendary (and currently pricey on the resale market) Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (10179), which was first released in 2007.

While the new Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) set looks like it’s 2007 incarnation, it looks like there’s going to be some differences. The most obvious of this is the box that the set will come in. While the original’s box looked like your typical Star Wars Lego box, the new box is a lot more cube like in design, which

While the original’s box looked like your typical Star Wars Lego box, the new box is a lot more cube like in design, which certainly makes it a look a lot more like a “Collector’s Edition” set.

Another difference, at least from what we can tell, is the minifigures that will come with Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192). While the original 2007 came with 5 minifigures; Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Obi-wan Kenobi, we might be getting more with the new set.

Only four minifigures can be seen on the catalogue image which are Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca and C-3PO. While the former three were in the original set, the C-3PO is a new addition which means that this reissue might not only include the original minifigure characters from the 2007 set but also additional ones, including C-3PO, R2-D2 and possibly more.

That’s not all if you were to compare, the original Leia Organa and Han Solo minifigures from the 2007 set, you’ll notice that the designs for both in the 2017 set are totally different.

Whatever the case though, we’re likely to see official images come September 1 as well as the confirmed pricing. And though that’s just a day away, we really can’t wait for it!
